GPN is a coalition of many planning organizations whose common goals are: to share knowledge, build planning capacity and provide international advocacy. Organizations join the coalition join by signing the Vancouver Declaration, a statement of shared principles drafted in 2006.
In the run up to Habitat III in Quito during October 2016, a number of organizations have joined GPN. In April 2016, Richard Stephens, the President of International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) added his name to the Vancouver Declaration, on behalf of ISOCARP. In June of 2016, the CEO of the International Federation for Housing and Planning (IFHP), Anette Galskjøt, signed the declaration on behalf of IFHP. And, in October, the Declaration was signed by Nicolas Buchoud, president of the Grand Paris Alliance, an independent non-profit think tank and network in France.
GPN welcomes these partners and invites other planning organizations around the world to join us. To learn more email email@example.com, or visit the GPN membership page.
